I have been to plenty places in the UK in my time – as it is my home country – but London will always be one of my favourites. I have experienced the capital’s exciting, non-stop culture plenty of times for it’s theatres and shows. I have played tourist multiple times to its main sites such as The London Eye, Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge, but nowadays I prefer exploring London’s more quirky, interesting places such as Camden Town and Covent Garden.
As you know I’m a Musical Theatre student so each time I visit I try to see at least one West End Show each time I’m in the city. My West End show list so far includes: 42nd Street, The Jersey Boys, A Chorus Line, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!, Memphis, Miss Saigon and Wicked. Food-wise its not so much different from my hometown, but down here I enjoy the American food chains of Chipotle and Five Guys, which takes me back to Miami and the streets of New York.
Another great attraction in Great Britain is the Lake District, which is basically on my doorstep. We go here quite often to take the dog for a walk and to enjoy the scenery on a sunny day, I would totally recommend a visit here, especially as it’s recently became a World Heritage Site.
This page will be updated often as it’s my home country. I should really explore more about whats on my doorstep as I’ve still not seen thats all to offer here in the UK still!
